MEET DR. WES YOUNGBERG
Dr. Wes Youngberg serves as co-host with Karen on the Naturally Gourmet cooking show series. As each recipe is demonstrated, he offers excellent commentary on the health benefits of the ingredients being used. Dr. Wes has motivating and enlightening presentations and seminars available for purchase and direct download from DrYoungberg.com. His theme is preventing and reversing disease through the comprehensive integration of physical, mental, spiritual and relational dimensions of health and healing.
Dr. Wes trained at Loma Linda University where he earned a doctorate in clinical preventive care, and a master's degree in nutrition. He has served as clinical assistant professor at LLU, and Past President of LLU School of Public Health Alumni Association, is a Certified Nutrition Specialist , and is one of the founding directors for the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
From 1994 to 2007 he served as a medical missionary in the Western Pacific where he was Director of the Guam SDA Clinic Wellness Center. He has lectured to medical conferences throughout Asia and the USA. Today, he directs the Youngberg Lifestyle Medicine Center in Temecula, CA.
Dr. Youngberg has 20 years of clinical experience using integrative therapies for diabetes control, depression recovery, cardiovascular disease reversal, optimizing digestive health and effective management of many chronic health conditions.
